THE BRIEF
The brand required a refreshed, modern identity (which honoured the brand's cultural heritage) in order to launch their new ready-to-wear accessible range to a completely new market & going forwards participate regularly on a global stage at all the key Fashion Weeks.
WHAT I DID
The main brand logo brings together a modern & bold sans serif together with a script style, which was a vectorized version of the Founder Yahya Al Bishri's signature. A typographic rule was set for social posts & ads - a bold sans serif alongside an elegant editorial serif. A deep cherry red shade was chosen for small highlights on the website, the rest of the palette neutral & high-end.
THE RESULT
My client was delighted with the result and the new direction for the brand in a new market.
He particularly enjoyed the collaborative way in which I worked, and the time and detail I went through in terms of research and getting to know the brand.
Al Bishri's valuable work on the global fashion stage is paving the way for future generations of designers from the Middle East, cementing his status as a trailblazer in bridging cultural and artistic boundaries through fashion.
The new brand is going to help propel the success, attract a younger & vibrant audience and raise their status as a major player in the fashion world.
